One date turned into many, and before long, something rather special had begun.
A Canadian adventure
November 2021
Mike flew out to visit Lareece while she was living in Canada. Together, they explored Montréal and Québec, with Mike bravely wearing ripped jeans in the Canadian winter. A bold choice. A chilly mistake.
Back to Canada
January 2022
Apparently one freezing trip wasn’t enough, so Mike returned to Canada for more snowy adventures and, presumably, more sensible trousers.
Homeward bound
March 2022
Lareece moved back to the UK, and by May they were off on their first trip together outside Canada. The travelling tradition had officially begun.
New home, new adventures
2023
Somewhere between exploring Greece and Croatia, we decided it was time to move in together. Sun, sea, sightseeing… and suddenly sharing a fridge.
Passport stamps galore
2024
Amsterdam, Andorra, Greece (again, because once clearly wasn’t enough), and Turkey. Plenty of adventures, memories, and increasingly ambitious holiday plans.
The big one
2025
On 5 May 2025, we got engaged! At the same time, we bought our first home together, two very exciting life updates in one very busy year.

A year of planning, dreaming, decision-making, and getting more excited with every detail that falls into place.

The next chapter begins at Warley Park, surrounded by our favourite people, plenty of colour, and a dance floor we fully intend to make the most of.
